Standard style Jaw couplings accommodate very little radial or angular misalignment between shafts. Unique Cardan Jaw Couplings double the angular capability of standard Jaw couplings and accommodate a large amount of radial misalignment. Our cardan shaft couplings absorb vibration, eliminate metal-to-metal contact and the need for lubrication while transmitting torque and rotary motion between two shafts. Cardan curved jaw couplings are available in a range of inch and metric bore sizes, with torque levels up to 1,060 lbs.-in. Our jaw couplings provide zero backlash performance at speeds up to 34,100 RPM and feature high-quality materials for extended service life.
